The folks at Rolling High are asking the question: is the bard still worth playing in a world where all the other classes matter more and are infinitely more versatile. I think we all know the answer.

One of my players brought bongo-drums to the game when he was playing a bard, all the regular players voted and he was banned from playing a bard after that bard was swallowed by a giant snake that was pounced on by shades while the bard was still kicking.
ReplyDeleteWe had one who was a classically trained guitarist play his guitar as his instrument. A lot of fun since the guy was a big fan of Pantera and worked their lyrics in every chance he got.
