Happy birthday! I hope your grandma is a good cook as so are most of the grandmothers here in Italy. If so I hope you can eat excellent dishes also because for them we are always "thin and emaciated" ;)
When she was younger she used to do these weekly family dinners and we'd come over and eat, but as she passed 70 she just couldn't cook for that many people anymore (we have a very large family). So now my Mom and Dad cook. Still lots of good food - and we're all still too thin and emaciated for her!
My default assumption is that all RPG bloggers played in the 80s. Not the best guess, admittedly. (Not trying to be a creeper -- I recall you mentioning Minnesota a while back, and thought it was cool to have another RPG blogger nearby.)
Happy birthday, Grandma!
ReplyDeleteI'll pass along your birthday wishes Tom!

DeleteHappy Birthday to Grandma! Hope your weekend is filled with love and fun!
ReplyDeleteIt was, though she postponed the party for another week. This turn of the seasons has been kicking her tookus.
DeleteYour grandma is only 85? I misjudged your age by like 2 decades. We should grab a beer!
ReplyDeleteI've already got mine and - how old did you think I was?

Actually I don't live in Minnesota, I have some family up there though. Nice place.
