Wizards dropped the ball. Tomb of Annihilation could've made a badass Greyhawk event. Acererak, Vecna, any lich really. Wasted opportunity if they do tab gh finally.
I took the survey even though I don't run or play 5e and I'm not in anyone's focus demographic (I'll be 47 later this year so I'm too young for AARP & funeral homes but too old for everyone else.)but setting material can be used with any rules set if a GM has been in the game for any length of time. I've never understood why Wizards wants to muddle its worlds. They could keep Dark Sun, Forgotten Realms, Greyhawk, Eberron, Mystarra, etc. as separate & unique settings. They have Planescape which allows for all these unique worlds along with any worlds that GMs's dream up to be connected. I was disappointed at the choices of supplemental setting materials that they were inquiring about. Arthurian legend, Grimm fairy tales & feudal Japan. Seriously? Like Chivalry & Sorcery, Pendragon, Harn & Bushido aren't games that exist and a GM could pull inspiration from. It bugged me that there wasn't an 'Other' option where someone could add the setting that they would like to see explored.
One vote for Greyhawk duly added!
