Haven Episode 1, Season 1

Man, oh man, did I ever just finish a fantastic episode of Haven on Netflix. My wife discovered the show yesterday afternoon while she was serving an in-service and rushed home to watch it with me.

Marian the witch is amazing and should be used in someone's Dungeons and Dragons campaign soon.
Nathan is a great stoic character and fantastic fodder for an aspiring fighter.
Some really good roots laid for future plots.
Reminds me of Warehouse 13 in the best possible sense.

Not such a fan of the overall story in this episode.
The acting tends to be a bit wooden.
I'm now sure that since I like it, it's destined to be cancelled early in it's run.

Overall Assessment
Watch this show, well worth the gripes.

Score: 6 out of 10
