A Question on Style

I was going to publish the fourth part of the D&D Basic Series today, but my son deleted all of it when he was trying to watch his favorite video on youtube. Such is the way with children and wives. Anyway, as I'm retyping the entire thing it occured to me that I should ask a couple style questions before I get too far into the series.

1.) Do you want a "Click here to begin at the beginning" link at the top of each post?

2.) Would you like a "Click here to read the next part" at the bottom of each post instead of just the overall series of links that I've got there now?

To anyone who answers these two questions, thank you in advance.

  1. As a latecomer to your series, I would answer 1) yes, please, and 2) yes, please.

  2. I like both but I use the group of links at the end far more often.

    1. Me too. I've always wondered why more people don't do that with series they're writing. It's soooooooooo much easier!

  3. Since I read your blog's digest, I don't need the link at the top to start from the beginning -- I read them as they post -- but it's unobtrusive enough that I don't mind it being there.

As for a collection of links, I'm more ambivalent. I used to do that with series on my own blog, until it was pointed out to me that there are enough search functions employed by the blog format that someone interested in the rest of a series can find them with relative ease.

That aside, I am *lazy* -- so even if I don't utilize a collection of links, it's nice to know they're there in case I don't feel like typing in a search bar. ;)
