Over the last week I've read 5,375 posts across 379 blogs as I caught up with March and April's BEST READS OF THE WEEK! series. You can check out the entire list of who I read on the FAQ for March which posted this morning.
Anyway after reading through so many people this month, and through so many posts, I wanted to make an observation about our community that I think gets over-looked as we see prominent members sniping at each other from one popular blog to another: by and large, we are some creative mother fuckers. We have people cranking out amazing content that ranges from small little bits of fiction that could keep you gaming for years trying to puzzle everything out, to these inventive worlds described in the barest terms possible so that you don't have to ever worry about being told you're doing it wrong. We have some amazing people out there doing their best to put out things that get you as excited about playing role-playing games as they are.
I just wanted to take a minute to remind everyone that no matter what the latest kerfuffle is that's dominating the social media side of things you're in a good community with mostly great people who only care about rocking their games as hard as possible. Sure there are assholes out there, but fuck those guys. We don't like them anyway.
Alright, now back to reading up about Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and why Blogger sucks for such things.
Later.
Hear, hear
