Loved his V&V stuff. A lot of his D&D stuff makes the characters look like superheroes, like that flying wizard.

I kind of like that because it's really appropriate when you consider that in the worlds they inhabit they pretty much are.

DeleteI love Jeff Dee. His style always struck me as heavily influenced by comic book art, and that is a good thing. I don't think that he's definitive of Old School fantasy RPGs (that would be Trampier), nor of Old School SF RPGs (that would be William H. Keith, Jr.), but his illustrations for Villains & Vigilantes are superior to anyone else who did superhero RPGs (not counting the repurposed art in Marvel Superheroes or DC Heroes), and he did a fine job in his D&D illustrations.
